SRCDC STRIVES TO EXCEL AS ONE OF THE ONLY NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ON STANDING ROCK SIOUX TRIBE THROUGHOUT SIOUX COUNTY, ND AND CORSON COUNTY, SD WHO ARE ACTIVELY PLANNING FOR A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY AND WHO ARE MAKING DECISIONS BASED IN LAKOTA/DAKOTA VALUES. OUR PLANNING FOCUSES ON PROTECTING AND BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE AND HEALTHY FUTURE FOR OUR NEXT GENERATIONS TO COME.

SRCDC'S KEY OBJECTIVE IS TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO SUPPORT OUR VISION AND GOALS TO IMPROVE OUR OWN COMMUNITIES AND ENHANCE CAPACITIES TO ADDRESS PROBLEMS. SRCDC INTENDS TO SUPPORT ITS GROWTH THRU ENHANCING THE OVERALL ECONOMY OF THE TRIBE BY PURCHASING LAND FOR HOUSING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. SRCDC ASSERTS LAND AS A KEY COMPONENT TO ADDRESSING THE MANY PROBLEMS OUR PEOPLE FACE. ADDITIONALLY, IT WILL ALSO PROVIDE SUBSTANTIAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH DEVELOPMENT.
