PROVIDING A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER (SRO) FOR THE SCHOOL. AN SRO IS A SWORN LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICER WHO WORKS, EITHER FULL OR PART TIME, IN A SCHOOL SETTING.
POLICE LUNCHES AND CONCERTS IN THE PARK FOR THE LA PALMA COMMUNITY EVERY 15 MINUTES -- THIS IS A PROGRAM THAT WORKS WITH THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL TO SHOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DRINK AND DRIVE.
