THE AGNUS DEI FOUNDATION OPERATES THE LAMB OF GOD MATERNITY HOME AND IS DEDICATED TO OFFERING REAL OPTIONS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN IN CRISIS BY PROVIDING 24/7 CARE THROUGH HOUSING, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT.

THE LAMB OF GOD MATERNITY HOME (ADF) PROVIDED HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, CLOTHING AND FOOD FOR OUR RESIDENTS. IN ADDITION, WOMEN RECEIVED ADOPTION, FINANCIAL, SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT WHILE RESIDING AT THE HOME. LAMB OF GOD HELPED RESIDENTS ATTEND MANDATORY COURTROOM APPEARANCES, CHILD VISITATIONS, ADDICTION SUPPORT GROUPS, AND MEDICAL AND PSYCHIATRIC APPOINTMENTS. IN ADDITION TO THE WOMEN WHO LIVE AT THE MATERNITY HOME, WE SERVED AS A RESOURCE TO THE LARGER COMMUNITY BY ANSWERING HUNDREDS OF CALLS ON OUR CRISIS LINE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WE DIRECTED CALLERS TO OTHER SERVICES AND AGENCIES THAT COULD PROVIDE FOR THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS AND SITUATIONS. BY RESIDING WITH OTHER WOMEN WHO ARE CHOOSING OPEN ADOPTION AS THEIR PARENTING CHOICE AND ATTENDING ADOPTION CLASSES/SUPPORT GROUPS, AS WELL AS PROFESSIONAL THERAPEUTIC SESSIONS, OUR RESIDENTS ARE EDUCATED TO MAKE THE MOST INFORMED DECISION FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR BABIES. AFTER AN ADOPTION, THE RESIDENTS RETURNED TO THE HOME AS THEY WORKED TOWARD A SELF-SUFFICIENT, STABLE FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES SECURING HOUSING, JOBS, AND EDUCATION. BY HELPING BOTH MOTHER AND CHILD, THE FINANCIAL BURDEN ON SOCIETY AT LARGE IS LESSONED. WITH OPEN ADOPTIONS, THE BIRTH MOTHERS CHOOSE THE ADOPTIVE PARENTS AND HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR CHILD.WE STARTED THE YEAR OFF TAKING PART IN THE SAN DIEGO WALK FOR LIFE AND COMMITTED OUR PROLIFE PRESENCE TAKING PART IN PROLIFE & 40 DAYS FOR LIFE PUBLIC PRAYERS IN TEMECULA, SAN DIEGO DOWNTOWN, VISTA AND MIRA MESA. WE CONTINUED TO PRAY FOR LIFE AT CHURCH CELEBRATIONS OF THE MASS AT SACRED HEART IN OCEAN BEACH AND ST. CHARLES BORREMEO IN POINT LOMA WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO PRESENT ADOPTION AT CULTURE OF LIFE FAMILY SERVICES IN-SERVICE AND THE BLUE BONNETS MEETING. FOUR PRIVATE DINNER EVENTS TO PAY OFF THE DEBT ON THE HOME, AND TWO HOSTED EVENTS AT THE MATERNITY HOME, ALONG WITH PRIVATE TOURS AND MEETINGS, ACCOUNTED FOR A VERY PRODUCTIVE 2021.
