BAND CAMP AND COMPETITIVE BAND: BAND CAMP IN THE SUMMER IS FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN AND PRACTICE THE MARCHING BAND PROGRAM COMPETITIVE BAND INVOLVES THE BAND PRACTICING AND TRAVELLING TO LOCAL, REGIONAL, STATE AND OTHER PERFORMANCE COMPETITIONS EXPENSES INCLUDE ENTRANCE FEES, MUSIC ARRANGEMENT, SHOW DESIGN, CHOREOGRAPHY, UNIFORMS, PROPS, INSTRUCTORS,T-SHIRTS FOR VOLUNTEERS AND BUSING TO EVENTS NUMBER OF STUDENTS PARTICIPATING: APPROXIMATELY 400 NUMBER OF SPECTATORS: APPROX 4,000 (NOT INCLUDING STUDENT BODY AND PARADES) PAST AWARDS INCLUDE: BEST MARCHING BAND, BUFFALO GROVE DAYS PARADE; SUPERIOR RATINGS AT CHICAGOLAND CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL
