TO PROMOTE THE SAFE AND EFFICACIOUS USE OF CONTRAST-ENHANCED ULTRASOUND ("CEUS") IN PATIENTS WITH DIVERSE MEDICAL PROFILES AND DISEASE STATES.TO PROVIDE A GLOBAL INTER-DISCIPLINARY FORUM TO FOSTER EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND DEVELOPMENT OF CEUS APPLICATIONS.TO FACILITATE OPEN AND DYNAMIC COMMUNICATIONS AMONG MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND SCIENTISTS IN THE FIELDS OF CARDIOLOGY, RADIOLOGY, GASTRO-INTESTINAL MEDICINE, VASCULAR MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, HEPATOLOGY, AND OTHER MEDICAL SPECIALTIES AND BASIC SCIENCE DISCIPLINES.TO FOSTER EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON THE SAFE AND EFFICACIOUS USE OF CEUS IN PATIENTS.TO CREATE AWARENESS IN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY ABOUT THE CLINICAL BENEFITS OF CEUS.

THE MAJOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SOCIETY INCLUDE EDUCATION, ADVOCACY AND COMMUNICATIONS INVOLVING CEUS. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE FREE MEMBERSHIP TO PHYSICIANS, SONOGRAPHERS, AND OTHER ULTRASOUND PROFESSIONALS, FREE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ON THE SAFETY AND APPROPRIATE USE OF CEUS, FREE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDITS, ACADEMIC BRIEFINGS AND WHITE PAPERS ON CEUS OF GOVERNMENT REGULATORS, AND STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS INITIATIVES INCLUDING MEDIA RELEASES AND WEEKLY EMAIL UPDATES PERTAINING TO ADVANCES IN THE CEUS FIELD. THE TAXPAYER OPERATES A COMPREHENSIVE WEBSITE WITH ALL RESOURCES AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE.
