TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT PROMOTE OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE AND ENHANCE PATIENT-CENTERED CARE. THE AOF HAS WORKED DILIGENTLY TOWARD REALIZING ITS VISION, TO ENRICH GLOBAL HEALTH BY PROMOTING OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE. THE AOF IS ENERGIZED AND INSPIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS THROUGH ITS MISSION, TO SUPPORT PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE AND ENHANCE THE OSTEOPATHIC PROFESSION. THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF LEADERSHIP, THE DEDICATION AND FORESIGHT OF THE AOF BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AND THE GENEROSITY OF THE FOUNDATION'S LOYAL DONORS, THE AOF PROUDLY SERVES AS THE PHILANTHROPIC PARTNER FOR THE OSTEOPATHIC PROFESSION, THE ASSOCIATION AND THE AFFILIATES. AOF HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF MANY WITHIN THE PROFESSION AND CONTINUES TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF AWARDS GIVEN, GRANTS EXTENDED, SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THAT ENHANCE AND BENEFIT OSTEOPATHIC STUDENTS, RESIDENTS, PHYSICIANS - AND THE PATIENTS THEY SO HONORABLY SERVE.

FOR 70 YEARS, THE AMERICAN OSTEOPATHIC FOUNDATION (AOF) HAS OPERATED AS THE CHARITABLE HEART OF THE OSTEOPATHIC PROFESSION. AOF ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGEAND DISSEMINATE THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE. THE AOF IS THE ONLY NATIONAL OSTEOPATHIC FOUNDATION THAT SUPPORTS AND INVESTS IN THE WHOLE PROFESSION BY RECOGNIZING OSTEOPATHIC STUDENTS, RESIDENTS AND PRACTICING PHYSICIANS BASED ON PROFESSIONAL MERIT.EDUCATION: THE AMERICAN OSTEOPATHIC FOUNDATION (AOF) PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL STUDENTS IN AN EFFORT TO DEFRAY COSTS OF MEDICAL SCHOOL.


RECOGNITION AWARDS: THE AOF'S INDUSTRY RECOGNITION AWARDS CELEBRATE EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP THROUGHOUT TO THE OSTEOPATHIC PROFESSION.
