JEWISH WARRIOR WEEKEND PROGRAM:JEWISH WARRIOR WEEKEND IS A WEEKEND SHABBATON FOR ALL JEWISH CADETS, MIDSHIPMAN AND JUNIOR OFFICERS IN THE AMERICAN ARMED FORCES. THE MISSION OF JEWISH WARRIOR WEEKEND IS TO (1) REAFFIRM THE PARTICIPANTS' COMMITMENT TO THE MILITARY, (2) CREATE A SUPPORT NETWORK OF JEWISH MILITARY PERSONNEL, (3) CHANGE THE GENERAL PERCEPTION ABOUT JEWISH PARTICIPATION IN THE AMERICAN MILITARY, (4) EMPOWER PARTICIPANTS TO TALK ABOUT THEIR JEWISH IDENTITY WITH THEIR NON-JEWISH PEERS AND (5) TEACH PARTICIPANTS ABOUT HISTORICAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF JEWISH SERVICE MEMBERS IN THE AMERICAN ARMED FORCES.
