2020 ACTIVITIES: LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: HELD 4 LEADERSHIP TRAININGS FOR RESIDENTS AND PARTNERS IN ASSET BASED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND DIGNITY SERVES. THIS RESULTED IN INCREASED PARTICIPATION IN, AND SUPPORT OF, NEIGHBORHOOD CONNECTING WORK. NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT: DIRECT OR INDIRECT SUPPORT OF 6 NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION EFFORTS, INCLUDING THE CONVENING, COACHING, AND TRAINING OF COMMUNITY CONNECTORS FOR MUTUAL SUPPORT AND ONGOING LEARNING. TAKEN TOGETHER, THESE TWIN STRATEGIES OF LEADERSHIP AND NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT CONTRIBUTED TO QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS, SUCH AS HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR FAMILIES FACING EVICTION, FOOD SECURITY INITIATIVES THROUGH COMMUNITY GARDENING, SENIOR CITIZENS BEING SUPPORTED WITH MATERIAL AID, AND YOUTHS BEING ENGAGED THROUGH PUBLIC ART AND OTHER PROGRAMS.
