SUMMER BASEBALL PROGRAM WHEREBY COLLEGE STUDENT-ATHLETES WERE ALLOWED TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS ON AND OFF THE FIELD AS PART OF THE DIAMOND DREAMS-TOPEKA GOLDEN GIANTS PROGRAM. EACH PLAYER ON THE TEAM WAS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE TEM PHILANTHROPY HOURS OF GOODWILL SERVICES. WE ATTENDED AND PARTICIPATED WITH BOYS/GIRLS OF YMCA, THE CAPPERS EASTER SEALS FOUNDATION, RONALD MCDONALD' HOSPICE HOUSE OF TOPEKA, JUST TO NAME A FEW. WE ARE A MEMBER OF NATIONAL BASEBALL CONGRESS AND THE MID PLAINS CONFERENCE LEAGUE. OUR TEAM PARTICIPATED IN 50+ GAMES BETWEEN MAY AND AUGUST 2020. OUR PLAYERS ARE REPRESENTED BY AT LEAST 20 COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. OUR MISSION IS TO ALLOW OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES TO COMPETE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL AND IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS OVER THE 10 WEEK PROGRAM.
