TO PRESERVE AND REVITALIZE THE CARPENTRY INDUSTRY AND TO INCREASE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS. TO ESTABLISH COOPERATIVE AND HARMONIOUS LABOR - MGMT. RELATIONS IN THE INDUSTRY. TO INCREASE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR JOURNEYMEN AND APPRENTICES. TO ENCOURAGE MAINTENANCE OF THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF CRAFTSMANSHIP AND WORKING CONDITIONS IN THE INDUSTRY. TO ESTABLISH A PROGRAM TO ACTIVELY PROMOTE THE UNION CARPENTRY INDUSTRY. TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR OPEN AND HONEST DISCUSSION AND RESEARCH OF PROBLEMS CONFRONTING EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE INDUSTRY.
