HRWG IS A PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION WHOSE MEMBERS CONDUCT RESEARCH ON HOMICIDES AND HOMICIDE RATES. MEMBERS NETWORK WITH OTHER RESEARCHERS AND DISSEMINATE EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH-RELATED INFORAMTION AT THEIR ANNUAL MEETING. HRWG USES ITS FUNDS TO PROVIDE A SUBSCRIPTION TO THEIR SCHOLARLY JOURNAL TO EACH MEMBER AND MAINTAINS A LISTSERV AND WEBSITE FOR USE BY ITS MEMBERS. HRWG FUNDS GRADUATE LEVEL RESEARCH THROUGH THEIR BLOCK AWARDS AND SUBSIDIZES THE COST OF THE ANNUAL MEETING EXPENSES.
