TO INSPIRE PHILANTHROPY THAT WILL ENHANCE THE QUALITY AND AVAILABILITY OF HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR THE PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES SERVED.

IN 2021, THE GREAT PLAINS HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM DONORS FOR SEVERAL FUNDS THAT ENHANCE THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE. OF THE $885,500 THAT WAS RAISED, APPROXIMATELY $287,625 WAS RAISED FOR EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY. THIS MONEY WILL BE COMBINED WITH FUNDS FROM 2020 TO GO TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF A NEW PET SCANNER FOR GP HEALTH. IN ADDITION TO THIS AMOUNT, $195,409 CAME IN FOR THE CALLAHAN CANCER CENTER FUNDS WHICH IS USED TO SUPPORT PATIENTS GOING THROUGH THEIR CANCER JOURNEY. $166,394 WAS COLLECTED IN THE FORM OF PLEDGES MADE TO THE ER PROJECT, $63,000 WAS RAISED FOR GREATEST NEEDS, $20,294 WAS RAISED FOR CARDIOLOGY, $6,975 WAS RAISED FOR HOSPICE, AND $3,750 WAS RAISED FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH.THE HERO CLUB, WHICH IS THE EMPLOYEE GIVING GROUP OF THE FOUNDATION RAISED $140,663 TO GO TOWARDS VARIOUS SMALLER PROJECTS IN THE HOSPITAL.THE REMAINING $1,435 WAS MONEY THAT IS USED FOR THE LINCKS PROGRAM. THIS MONEY IS RAISED VIA A GRANT AND OUTSIDE SOURCES AND USED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE PROGRAM.
