SHELTER PROGRAM - TRANSITIONAL SHELTER PROGRAM FEATURES A COMPREHENSIVE ARRAY OF SERVICES DESIGNED TO TRANSITION A WOMAN AND HER CHILDREN BEYOND HOMELESSNESS AND TOWARDS INDEPENDENT LIVING. SERVICES OFFERED INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT, CAREER SERVICES, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, COUNSELING, AND ADVOCACY. THE TWO TRANSITIONAL SHELTERS EACH HAVE 4-6 BEDROOMS AND SLEEPS 10 PEOPLE PER SITE. THE TYPICAL LENGTH OF STAY IS 3-5 MONTHS.
STAGE II HOUSING - TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM IS A MIDDLE STEP 3-5 MONTHS. BETWEEN THE SHELTER AND INDEPENDENT LIVING. IT OFFERS THE SAME COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES THAT ARE OFFERED IN THE SHELTER PROGRAM. THE LENGTH OF STAY IN THESE UNITS RANGES FROM 6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS .
