GENERAL TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAMS INCLUDED SAFETY CAMP PARTNERSHIPS THROUGHOUT HENNEPIN COUNTY, BIKE RODEOS/HELMET FITIINGS, CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY PRESENTATIONS, INVOLVEMENT IN THE ANNUAL AAA TRAFFIC SAFETY POSTER PROGRAM, AND OUR FLAGSHIP INTIATIVE, THE AAA SCHOOL SAFETY PATROL PROGRAM PARTNERSHIPS THAT SUPPORT OUR NOVICE AND SENIOR DRIVING INTIATIVES ALSO CONTINUED THROUGH THE YEAR


COMMUNITY OUTREACH ENDEAVORS INCLUDED BIKE SAFETY PRESENTATIONS TO LOCAL POLICE PROGRAMS, CARFIT PROGRAM, CHILDREN FIRST ICE CREAM SOCIAL/BIKE HELMET FITIING, AND TRAFFIC SAFETY PRESENTATIONS TO STUDENTS AND ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT HENNEPIN COUNTY A GRANT PROGRAM IS IN PLACE TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO SCHOOLS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT TRAFFIC SAFETY INITIATIVES THE FOUNDATION'S EXPERTISE AND RESOURCES ALSO BENEFIT SEVERAL METRO AREA COALITIONS THROUGH ITS INVOLVEMENT ON PLANNING COMMITTIEES
