PROVIDE EMERGENCY AND OTHER INTERVENTION SERVICES NEEDED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS

THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EMERGENCY SHELTER AND WALK-IN PROGRAM HOUSED 77 VICTIMS AND THEIR CHILDREN FOR 1,966 DAYS AND 3,550 HOURS OF SERVICE. SHELTER INCLUDES HOUSING, FOOD, AND ALL OTHER SERVICES NECESSARY TO HELP THE FAMILY ESTABLISH SAFE LIVING ARRANGEMENTS. WALK IN SERVICES HELPED 382 VICTIMS AND THEIR CHILDREN FOR 3,532 HOURS OF SERVICE. WALK IN SERVICES INCLUDES ADULT AND CHILD INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING AND LEGAL ADVOCACY.


HOPE CHEST TWICE LOVED BOUTIQUE IS A THRIFT STORE THAT HELPS RAISE FUNDS FOR HOPE OF OGLE COUNTY. DURING FY22 THE AVERAGE MONTHLY SALES WERE 10,887.


THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM STARTED DECEMBER 1, 2011, AND THE PROGRAM CHANGED OVER TO EXTENDED EMERGENCY SHELTER (EES) DECEMBER 1, 2017. DURING FY22, EES HOUSED 3 VICTIMS AND THEIR CHILDREN. EES INCLUDES ALL HOUSING, FOOD, AND ALL OTHER SERVICES NEEDED TO HELP THE FAMILY ESTABLISH A LONG-TERM SAFE LIVING ARRANGEMENT.
