EAST MOLINE CITIZENS FOR A COMMUNITY CENTER OPERATES THE ALDRIDGE EARLY LEARNING CENTER TO PROVIDE CHILD CARE FOR CHILDREN OF LOW OR MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES IN AND AROUND THE CITY OF EAST MOLINE. THE CENTER IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND, 254 DAYS ANNUALLY. A STAFF OF 25 PROFESSIONALS AND PARAPROFESSIONALS HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PROVIDING CARE FOR UP TO 250 CHILDREN ANNUALLY. USING A RESEARCH BASED CURRICULUM, OUR FOCUS IS ON PREPARING CHILDREN FOR ADMISSION INTO THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
