TRAINING - THE FEDERATION CONDUCTS A NUMBER OF MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND WORKSHOPS EACH YEAR. THE ANNUAL MEETING IS DEVOTED TO A SUBSTANTIVE DISCUSSION OF EMERGING STATE AND FEDERAL TAX POLICY AND OTHER TOPICS OF CONCERN TO STATE ADMINISTRATORS. PRACTITIONERS FORUMS ARE ALSO CONDUCTED BY THE MOTOR FUEL TAX SECTION AND TOBACCO TAX SECTION.


INFORMATION EXCHANGE - THE FEDERATION REGULARLY MONITORS THE ACTIVITIES OF STATE TAX AGENCIES AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN ORDER TO SERVE AS A CLEARINGHOUSE ON TOPICS IMPORTANT TO ADMINISTRATORS.
