SHOP ENVIRONMENTS ASSOCIATION, INC., (SHOP), WAS FORMED OCTOBER 1, 2015, AS A RESULT OF A MERGER OF THE ASSOCIATION FOR RETAIL ENVIRONMENTS, INC., (ARE) AND POINT OF PURCHASE ADVERTISING INTERNATIONAL, INC., (POPAI) WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE MEMBERS OF ARE AND POPAI. BOTH ENTITIES SHARE THE SAME GOALS. ALL SIGNIFICANT ASSETS HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED. THE TWO ENTITIES WERE MERGED AS EQUAL PARTNERS, BUT UTILIZING ARE AS THE SURVIVING ENTITY BEING RENAMED AS SHOP ENVIRONMENTS ASSOCIATION, INC. THE ENTITY IS A NOT-FOR- PROFIT INTERNATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATION DEDICATED TO ENHANCING RETAIL ENVIRONMENTS AND EXPERIENCES. THE ASSOCIATION BRINGS VALUE TO THE GLOBAL RETAIL MARKETPLACE THROUGH OUR INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP, RESEARCH PROGRAMS, INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION AND NETWORKING EVENTS. THE ASSOCIATIONS PRIMARY SOURCE OF REVENUE IS FROM DUES, TRADE SHOWS, EDUCATION AND PUBLICATIONS.
