IPA SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES HIGH STANDARDS FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICE, TRAINING AND RESEARCH; FACILITATES THE STUDY OF PSYCHOLOGY AT ALL LEVELS; PROMOTES HIGH STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS; PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PSYCHOLOGISTS; AND ENCOURAGES PROGRAMS OR PROJECTS THAT BENEFIT THE PUBLIC.
