THE DAISY FUND, ALSO KNOWN AS DAISYCARES, AND THE SAN ANTONIO FOOD BANK HAVE PARTNERED TO CREATE THE DAISYCARES PET FOOD PROGRAM-A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROVIDE STRUGGLING FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH PET FOOD ASSISTANCE FOR THEIR PETS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES PET FOOD TO FAMILIES THROUGH THE SAN ANTONIO FOOD BANK'S ESTABLISHED NETWORK OF PARTNER AGENCIES ALREADY PROVIDING EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. 157,894 PETS WERE SERVED IN 2020.
THE DAISY FUND'S VETERINARY CARE PROGRAM WAS CREATED TO HELP NEEDY PET OWNERS WITH THE COST OF VETERINARY CARE FOR THEIR PETS. IT WAS CREATED TO AID PET OWNERS WITH DEMONSTRATED FINANCIAL NEED BY SUPPLEMENTING THE COST OF VETERINARY CARE FOR THEIR PETS.
