SEVENTY-FIVE STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN APPROXIMATELY 40 WEEKLY REHEARSALS WHICH ARE TWO HOURS IN DURATION IN PREPARATION FOR THREE MAJOR CONCERTS. THE CUMULATIVE TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 6,000 REHEARSAL HOURS ARE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS. THE SYMPHONY PERFORMS FOR PARENTS AND FAMILY AS WELL AS MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE CONCERTS ARE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE AND THE PERFORMANCES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THEY ALSO PERFORM SEVERAL SMALLER CONCERTS DURING THE YEAR AT SENIOR CITIZENS HOMES AND THESE PERFORMANCES REACH HUNDREDS OF RESIDENTS.
