IN 2020, INDIANA ORGAN PROCUREMENT ORGANIZATION D.B.A INDIANA NETWORK FACILITATED 857 ORGAN TRANSPLANTS FROM 252 ORGAN DONORS - A 29% INCREASE FROM 2019 - LEADING TO 726 LIVES SAVED. ADDITIONALLY, 1,379 TISSUE AND CORNEA DONORS GAVE THE GIFT OF HEALING AND SIGHT, LEADING TO 16,772 TISSUES RECOVERED. AT OUR NEW ON-SITE ORGAN RECOVERY UNIT, WE RECOVERED 180 ORGANS FROM 43 DONORS, AND, IN 2020, WE SAW AN INCREASE OF 46% IN HOSPITAL ORGAN REFERRAL CALLS AND A 25% INCREASE IN HOSPITAL TISSUE REFERRAL CALLS. WE ALSO SUPPORTED 2,313 FAMILY MEMBERS OF ORGAN, TISSUE AND EYE DONORS THROUGH OUR AFTERCARE PROGRAM. OUR DIRVEN2SAVELIVES PROGRAM GENERATED 9,568 UNIQUE VISITORS TO DRIVEN2SAVELIVES.ORG; GARNERED MORE THAN 63,482 INTERACTIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA (TOTALING 2,263,422 IMPRESSIONS); AND REGISTERED 282 ORGAN, TISSUE, AND EYE DONORS. INDIANA DONOR NETWORK'S SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS GENERATED 137,135 INTERACTIONS (TOTALING MORE THAN 13,179,489 IMPRESSIONS), AND THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE SAW MORE THAN 44,143 UNIQUE VISITORS. TRAINED VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 10,893 HOURS OF SERVICE, AND WE REACHED 40,280 STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH DIRECT EDUCATION ON DONATION AND TRANSPLANTATION.
