AS ONE OF THE REGION'S FOREMOST CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL ASSETS, THE ZOO FUNCTIONS AS A REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL RESOURCE FOR ZOOLOGICAL RESEARCH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION.
