THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE GREAT LAKES IN TOLEDO, OHIO THAT HAS ARTIFACTS AND EXHIBITS ABOUT THE GREAT LAKES. THE ORGANIZATION EDUCATED THE PUBLIC THROUGH ITS MARITIME RESEARCH LIBRARY, EVENTS AND PUBLICATIONS SUCH AS ITS QUARTERLY INLAND SEAS JOURNAL. THE MUSEUM INCLUDES A FREIGHTER THAT WAS RENOVATED AS PART OF THE NEW MUSEUM.
