THE MISSION OF THE HEART OF OHIO COUNCIL, BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA IS TO PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE ETHICAL AND MORAL CHOICES OVER THEIR LIFETIMES BY INSTILLING IN THEM THE VALUES OF THE SCOUT OATH AND LAW. THE HEART OF OHIO COUNCIL ACCOMPLISHES ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE THROUGH PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH IN 9 COUNTIES IN OHIO AND THROUGH THE OPERATION OF AN OUTDOOR CAMP.
