THE PURPOSE OF WAYNE CENTER FOR THE ARTS IS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF ALL AREA RESIDENTS THROUGH EXPOSURE TO THE ARTS; AND TO CULTIVATE AND IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT FOR CHANGE THROUGH THE ARTS FOR EVERYONE IN THE COUNTY REGARDLESS OF AGE, GENDER, PHYSICAL CHALLENGES, OR ETHNIC ORIGIN.

WAYNE CENTER FOR THE ARTS HAS CONTINUED TO PROVIDE PROGRAMMING INCLUDING CLASSES/WORKSHOPS WITH ARTISTS; PUBLIC PERFORMANCES FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES; CURRICULUM-BASED PROGRAMS FOR GRADES K-12; LECTURES/DEMONSTRATION PROGRAMS BY ARTISTS AND PRE/POST SHOW DISCUSSIONS WITH THE ARTISTS, EDUCATORS AND STAFF; TEACHER WORKSHOPS; AND ARTISTS-IN-SCHOOLS RESIDENCIES.
