THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM IS TO SUPPORT YOUNG FARMERS. IN ORDER TO DO THIS, A LOAN INTEREST SUBSIDY PROGRAM IS IN PLACE TO ASSIST YOUNG FARMERS WITH BORROWING CAPITAL NECESSARY TO ENTER INTO THE BUSINESS OF FARMING OR TO CONTINUE FARMING. THE AMOUNT OF LOANS WITH THE INTEREST SUBSIDIZED UNDER THIS PROGRAM AS OF THE PAST FIVE FISCAL YEARS IS: 480,000 AS OF 6- 30-2017, 775,000 AS OF 6-30-2018, 911,000 AS OF 6-30-2019, 961,000 AS OF 6-30-2020 AND 922,000 AS OF 6-30-2021.
TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE YOUNG FARMER LOAN PROGRAM AND TO ASSIST WITH EDUCATION EFFORTS FOR YOUNG FARMERS WHO ARE OR WILL POTENTIALLY BE FUTURE PARTICIPANTS IN THE YOUNG FARMER LOAN PROGRAM, THE ORGANIZATION MAKES DONATIONS TO AREA PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT YOUNG FARMERS IN THE PAULDING COUNTY, OHIO AREA.
