INTERNATIONAL DOCTORS IN ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS (IDAA) IS A WORLDWIDE FELLOWSHIP OF MORE THAN 9,900 HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO STRIVE TO HELP ONE ANOTHER TO ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN RECOVERY FROM ADDICTIONS. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO DOCTORATE LEVEL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, NURSE PRACTITIONERS, CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETISTS, OR TO THOSE IN TRAINING FOR THESE DEGREES.

IDAA CONFERENCE: SINCE 1949, IDAA HAS PROVIDED A UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT, MEETINGS, RESOURCES AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO DOCTORAL LEVEL HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. IDAA'S ANNUAL MEETING PROVIDES A COMBINATION OF CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME), RECOVERY EDUCATION AND MUTUAL HELP MEETINGS. IDAA PROVIDES RESOURCES AND SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN IN FULL SUPPORT OF FAMILY RECOVERY. THE IDAA ANNUAL MEETING IS THE CENTERPIECE OF IDAA'S ACTIVITIES AND LIKE ALL IDAA SERVICES, IS A NETWORK OPERATED WITHIN THE TRADITION OF ANONYMITY.
