CAMP SUE OSBORN IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING EXCELLENT, EVERYDAY CAMP EXPERIENCES FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN LAKE, GEAUGA AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, CAMP SUE OSBORN MOVED TO COMPLETELY VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING FOR THE SUMMER OF 2020. HOWEVER IN 2021, AFTER MAKING MANY ADJUSTMENTS TO CAMP ACTIVITIES AND PROCEDURES WE WERE ABLE TO OFFER BOTH VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON CAMPING OPTIONS. THE VIRTUAL PORTION OF CAMP TOOK PLACE OVER A FIVE DAY PERIOD AND OFFERED SEVERAL INTERACTIVE SESSIONS IN WHICH CAMPERS COULD PARTICIPATE. ONE WEEK OF IN PERSON CAMP INVOLVED THE INSTITUTION OF MANY PROTOCOLS INTENDED TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR CAMPERS AND STAFF. WITH A TOTAL OF 32 CAMPERS AND 28 STAFF IN ATTENDANCE, ALL WERE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ART, DANCE, COOKING NATURE AND OPEN GAME ACTIVITIES.
