PROMOTING CULTIVATING YOUTH EMPOWERMENT THROUGH EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, CROSS-CULTURAL DIALOGUE, SUSTAINABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ECONOMIC GROWTH, AMONG UNDER-SERVED KENYAN AND AMERICAN SCHOOL COMMUNITIES.

CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF NEW KIJANA GLOBAL INNOVATION SCHOOL. EXPANDED ENROLLMENT FROM 54 STUDENTS IN JANUARY OF 2021 TO CLOSE TO 100 BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL AND CALENDAR YEAR. INAUGURATED CARE, SHARE AND EXPLORE PROGRAM, IN WHICH WE INCORPORATED DEEP ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING AND EXPLORATION INTO THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE BY TAKING STUDENTS ON EXPLORATIONS OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM AND INTO THE LOCAL ENVIRONMENT. BOUGHT A NEW 33 SEAT SCHOOL BUS. WE PURCHASED SEVERAL WATER TANKS. DEVELOPED THE ENTRY TO THE SCHOOL, INCLUDING PARKING LOT. PAINTED THE ENTIRE SCHOOL. BUILT THE WALL ALONG THE ROAD TO THE SCHOOL. HIRED ADDITIONAL TEACHERS. BUILT A SECOND SET OF TOILETS. PURCHASED SIGNIFICANT RESOURCES BOOKS, STATIONERY, SUPPLIES FOR LEARNING. COVERED OPERATING COSTS OF THE SCHOOL, INCLUDING TEACHERS SALARIES. DEVELOPED MORE MURALS AND PAINTED THEM ON THE WALLS OF THE SCHOOL. PURCHASED MORE RECYCLED GLASS ANIMALS TO IMPROVE THE AESTHETIC AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT OF THE SCHOOL. CONTINUED TO DEVELOP MORE KIJANA HEROES POSTERS- PART OF A MULTI-YEAR ENDEAVOR TO PROMOTE CROSS-CULTURAL AND HISTORICA
