LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY HEALTH CARE IS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT THE CLINICAL TEACHING PROGRAMS OF LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY AND LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER BY PROVIDING MEDICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORTING SERVICES; TO ESTABLISH, SUPPORT, AND MAINTAIN MEDICAL CLINICS PROVIDING HEALTH CARE SERVICES THROUGH ITS AFFILIATION WITH LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE; TO SPONSOR, ADVANCE, AND PROMOTE HEALTH AND MEDICAL EDUCATION; AND TO ENGAGE IN MEDICALLY RELATED RESEARCH SERVICES THROUGH AFFILIATION WITH THE LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE.

LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY HEALTH CARE (LLUHC) OPERATES MEDICAL CLINICS AND PROVIDES ADMINISTRATIVE AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER. LLUHC PROVIDED ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO OVER 1,300 FACULTY PROVIDERS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAINING AND EDUCATING APPROXIMATELY 707 MEDICAL STUDENTS AND 900 RESIDENTS. THIS COMBINATION OF CARE PROVIDERS SAW ABOUT 65,000 PATIENTS ON A MONTHLY BASIS. A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF THESE PATIENTS RECEIVED MEDI-CAL OR MEDICARE ASSISTANCE.
