DURING THE YEAR THE FEDERATION ENCOURAGED AND PROMOTED A HIGH STANDARD OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELL BEING OF ALL THE FULL TIME, DULY SWORN LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS OF THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE SPONSORSHIP OF ATHLETIC COMPETITION. THE COST OF THE ATHLETIC TOURNAMENTS AND TEE SPONSORSHIPS WERE ALSO PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED. THE FEDERATION ALSO PROMOTES BETTER COMMUNITY RELATIONS BETWEEN THE PUBLIC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES BY SPONSORING TOURNAMENTS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT OF THE PUBLIC.

THE FEDERATION MAKES CONTRIBUTIONS TO OTHER PUBLICLY SUPPORTED ENTITIES (501(C)3) IN ORDER TO IMPROVE ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
THE FEDERATION PUTS ON A YEARLY "MUDRUN" WHERE POLICE OFFICERS PAY TO COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER IN A RUN IN THE MUD. THIS PROMOTES THE PHYSICAL WELL BEING OF THE OFFICERS AND ALSO IMPROVES RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE COMMUNITY AS IT IS A PUBLIC EVENT.
AS PART OF THE MEMBERS BENEFITS, THE FEDERATION BUYS SPORTING TICKETS AND SELLS THEM TO THE MEMBERS AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE.
