PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE POOR AND NEEDY IN NORTH SAN DIEGO COUNTY THROUGH CONGREGATE FEEDING, DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD, CLOTHING AND OFFERING TEMPORARY SHELTER, COUNSELING, TRAINING, AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO PERSONS IN SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAMS.


BROTHER BENNO'S THRIFT SHOP GENERATES REVENUE TO COVER THE DAILY EXPENSES OF THE CENTER, INCLUDING ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS. IT IS A SOURCE OF CLOTHING, FURNITURE, AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS FOR THE COMMUNITY IT SERVES. IN ADDITION, THE THRIFT SHOP PROVIDES JOBS FOR THE COMMUNITY.OF THE TOTAL SALARIES AND WAGES PAID BY BROTHER BENNO FOUNDATION FYE 07/31/2018, JUST OVER HALF WERE PAID TO OPERATE THE THRIFT SHOP.
