GLOBAL MISSIONS: AS WE CONTINUALLY STRIVE TO BE INSPIRATIONAL, RELATIONAL, AND MISSIONAL, OUR GOAL WITH GLOBAL MISSIONS IS TO LOVE ALL PEOPLE, MEET NEEDS, SHARE JESUS WITH ANYONE WE CAN, AND SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT EIGHT CORE FOCUS AREAS. THESE INCLUDE WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN, REFUGEES, HUMANITARIAN RELIEF, ADDICTION RECOVERY, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, POVERTY, THOSE AFFECTED BY LIFE-THREATENING DISEASES, AND CHURCH PLANTING IN DEVELOPING NATIONS.
PRESCHOOL: OUR CHURCH PRESCHOOL PROGRAM IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS. BASED ON PRINCIPLES OF LOVE, KINDNESS, AND INCLUSIVITY, OUR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM NURTURES THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG CHILDREN IN A WARM, FAITH-BASED ENVIRONMENT. OUR CURRICULUM IS CAREFULLY DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THE COGNITIVE, PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EACH CHILD, INSTILLING IN THEM A LIFELONG LOVE FOR LEARNING. THE PROGRAM INCORPORATES AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES THAT FOSTER CREATIVITY, CRITICAL THINKING, AND INDEPENDENCE. THESE INCLUDE HANDS-ON LEARNING EXPERIENCES, ARTS AND CRAFTS, STORYTIME, AND OUTDOOR PLAY.
SHARE FOOD PANTRY: OUR MISSION IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING HUNGER AND FOOD INSECURITY IN OUR COMMUNITY, WORKING STEADFASTLY TO PROVIDE NUTRITIOUS FOOD AND VITAL RESOURCES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED. OUR EFFORTS SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT THE GARFIELD PARK COMMUNITY AS WE DISTRIBUTE MEALS AND GROCERIES TO OVER A HUNDRED FAMILIES BI-WEEKLY.
