THE CENTER IMPROVES THE HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT THROUGH SUSTAINABLE FARMING PRACTICES, PROMOTES LOCAL FOOD SYSTEMS AND FOOD SECURITY, SUPPORTS WATERSHED AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, PROVIDES ENVIRONMENTAL AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION, AND PRESERVES THE AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE OF WESTCHESTER COUNTY AND THE HUSON VALLEY. CULTIVATE ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE ORGANIC FOOD FOR OUR COMMUNITY.HUNGER RELIEF - HILLTOP HANOVER'S FARM TO PANTRY PROGRAM HELPED FOOD PANTRIES AND OTHER EMERGENCY FOOD PROGRAMS MAKE FRESH, NUTRITIOUS, LOCALLY GROWN FOOD AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. THE FARM SERVED OVER 20 COMMUNITY PARTNERS THROUGHOUT WESTCHESTER, INCLUDING FOOD PANTRIES, SOUP KITCHENS AND SHELTERS. IN LINE WITH OUR MISSION STATEMENT, A MINIMUM 10% OF PRODUCE GROWN IS DONATED. HOWEVER, WE ARE EXCITED TO SAY IT IS OFTEN MUCH MORE.
