GENERAL GRANTMAKING: A TOTAL OF $588,415 IN GRANT FUNDS WERE AWARDED TO A BROAD OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. OVER $290,000 IN GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO HEALTH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. WESCOM FOUNDATION'S GRANTMAKING FALLS GENERALLY INTO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: FINANCIAL WELLNESS ($87,375), HISTORIC PRESERVATION ($126,000), SOCIAL JUSTICE ($22,000), YOUTH SERVICES ($15,000), HUMAN SERVICES ($12,000), EDUCATION ($8,000), ANIMAL WELFARE ($8,000), DISASTER RESPONSE ($7,000), ENVIRONMENT ($3,750), AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT ($2,000).
