RECOGNITION AND PROMOTION: THE DEASBF PAYS A LINE OF DUTY DEATH BENEFIT AFTER AN EMPLOYEE OR DEPUTIZED TASK FORCE OFFICER IS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY. THE DEASBF ALSO CONDUCTS AN ONGOING PROGRAM OF RECOGNIZING AGENTS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY BY DEDICATING MEMORIALS TO THEM IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY.
