THE FOUNDATION SHELTER ADDRESSES THE VERY BASIC NEES OF OUR COMMUNITY'S MOST DESPARATE CITIZENS, THE HOMELESS. MOST OUR RESIDENTS ARE MEN WITH LONG TERM SOCIAL AND HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT CAUSE THEIR HOMELESS STATUS. OCCASSIONALLY SOMEONE WITH A SHORT TERM PROBLEM NEEDS OUR HELP. WHILE MOST THE RESIDENTS ARE USUALLY MEN, WE ARE USUALLY HOUSING 3 TO 4 WOMEN AND OCCASSIONALLY MOTHERS WITH CHILDREN.WE CAN HOUSE 25 RESIDENTS, MEN'S SHELTER CAPACITY IS 16 AND WOMEN'S SHELTER CAPACITY IS 9. THE SHELTER IS DESIGNED TO TOTALLY SEPARATE WOMAN AND CHILDREN FROM THE MALE POPULATION.
