WE STRIVE TO MAKE FRANKLINTON A BETTER PLACE TO WORK, SHOP, AND LIVE THROUGH THE ENHANCEMENT OF ITS INSTITUTIONS, BUSINESS RETENTION, DEVELOPMENT, AND EXPANSION. FOSTERING JOB CREATION, PLUS PARTNERING WITH COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS ON PROJECTS TO FULFILL OUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE COMMUNITY.

FRANKLINTON SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (FSID)- SERVICES PERFORMED WITH FUNDING FROM FSID IN 2022 INCLUDE PROVIDING CLEANING AND SAFETY AMBASSADOR TEAMS WHICH SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES WITHIN FRANKLINTON BY MAKING THE COMMUNITY CLEANER, SAFER, AND MORE CONNECTED. IN 2022 THE CLEANING AMBASSADOR TEAM COLLECTED 67,860 POUNDS OF TRASH, 53,730 POUNDS OF YARD WASTE, 31,815 POUNDS OF DIRT, PLUS 260 TIRES FOR DISPOSAL. THE SAFETY AMBASSADOR TEAM INITIATED RESPONSES AND ANSWERED CALLS FOR HELP. INITIATING AND FOSTERING COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND PROVIDING A SECURITY PRESENCE. ASSISTING SMALL BUSINESES AND THE COMMUNITY WITH TRESPASSING, THEFT PREVENTION, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, SAFETY ESCORTS AND OTHER SERVICES.
CLEANER COLUMBUS PROGRAM- USING FUNDS FROM THE CARES ACT PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF COLUMBUS UTILIZE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS TO CLEAN UP TRASH FROM ALLEY WAYS IN PARTICULAR IN THE FRANKLINTON AREA. IN 2022. ALLEY CLEANING AND STREETS AND SIDEWALK CLEANING COLLECTED OVER 9,600 PONDS OF TRASH AND OVER 17,000 POUNDS OF YARD WASTE.
MONTHLY LUNCHEONS/ANNUAL MEETING/BUSINESS AFTER HOURS- THESE FRANKLINTON BOARD OF TRADE FUNCTIONS PROVIDE MEMBERS AND OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY THE OPPRTUNITY TO NETWORK AND TO HEAR PRESENTATIONS FROM BUSINESSES, NON-PROFITS, AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FRANKLINTON AREA. THE ANNUAL MEETING IS AN OPPRTUNITY TO HEAR ABOUT THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE FRANKLINTON BOARD OF TRADE FOR THE YEAR, AND TO RECOGNIZE INDIVIDUALS AND ENTITIES FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
