DCP IS A PARENT COOPERATIVE, COMMUNITY BASED, NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHILD CARE CENTER. ITS GOAL IS TO ACTIVELY INVOLVE PARENTS IN ITS ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION WHILE ALSO PROVIDING PARENT EDUCATION OPPORTUNITES AND INCLUDING PARENTS IN THE LEARNING PROCESS WHEREEVER POSSIBLE.

TODDLER TIME - CLASSES ARE DESIGNED TO CATER TO THE CHILD WHO IS READY TO LEARN SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL BASICS. TODDLER TIME IS FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE READY TO LEARN AND PLAY TOGETHER WITH THEIR PEERS, GUIDED BY A TEACHER AND PARENT HELPER. THE PRIMARY FOCUS IS UPON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL, GROSS AND FINE MOTOR, LANGUAGE AND SELF-HELP SKILLS. PRESCHOOL - FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN, THE HAND IS THE INSTRUMENT OF THE MIND AND WE PREPARE THE ENVIRONMENT OF OUR PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM WITH THIS AS OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLE.
