CITYWIDE IS A LEADER IN THE CREATION & IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPREHENSIVE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES & PROGRAMS IN URBAN NEIGHBORHOODS IN DAYTON, OH. IN THE FAIRGROUNDS NEIGHBORHOOD, A NEW EFFORT CALLED ON MAIN IS UNDERWAY TO CREATE FUTURE HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AT THE SITE OF THE FORMER MONTGOMERY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. IN THE PHOENIX NEIGHBORHOOD, THE PREMIER HEALTH YMCA OPENED AS A FIRST PHASE OF DEVELOPMENT. THIS INCLUDES A FULL-SERVICE YMCA, URGENT CARE, LAB, IMAGING, PHYSICIANS AND PHYSICAL THERAPHY SERVICES. OTHER TENANTS ARE GOODWILL WHICH PROVIDES JOB TRAINING; CARESOURCE PROVIDES NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION AND COOKING CLASSES; THE HOMEOWNERSHIP CENTER ASSISTS RESIDENTS WITH FINANCIAL LITERACY AND THE HOMEBUYING PROCESS; AND WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY. EFFORTS ARE ONGOING IN THE OLD NORTH DAYTON AND WRIGHT-DUNBAR NEIGHBORHOODS.
