IFS PROMOTES SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH AT OUR FORFAR FIELD STATION LOCATED ON ANDROS ISLAND IN THE BAHAMAS. IFS RUNS YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO EXPERIENCE HANDS-ON, OUTDOOR, ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, AS WELL AS HELPING TO FACILITATE RESEARCH BY TRAINED SCIENTISTS. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE DIVING, SNORKELING, SAILING, KAYAKING, CULTURAL EXPERIENCES, EVENING SCIENCE LECTURES, AND DAILY EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS ON LAND AND BY SEA.
