THE MISSION OF SHOW YOUR SOFT SIDE IS TO PREVENT ABUSE AND CREATE A MORE COMPASSIONATE WORLD FOR ANIMALS BY PROMOTING THAT KINDNESS TO ANIMALS IS A STRENGTH THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES, ESPECIALY IN BALTIMORE CITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS; TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, ESPECIALLY YOUTH, THROUGH SLOGANS SUCH AS "ONLY A PUNK WOULD HURT A CAT OR DOG," THAT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE SOCIAL BEHAVIOR, AS DEMONSTRATED THROUGH THE IMAGES OF CELEBRITIES AND PUBLIC FIGURES AND THE PETS; TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE MOST VULNERABLE ANIMALS IN BALTIMORE CITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS; AND TO ENGAGE IN ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE NOT INCONSISTENT WITH SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND APPLICABLE STATE LAW.
