CCC CHALLENGE: THE CLEANER CONTRA COSTA CHALLENGE HELPS ADVANCE GOALS FOR HEALTH SAFETY ECONOMIC VITALITY ENERGY INDEPENDENCE AND QUALITY OF LIFE. SCOCO WORKS WITH SEVERAL LOCAL AGENCY PARTNERS TO PROVIDE A VALUABLE ONLINE PLATFORM WHERE PEOPLE MEASURE THEIR HOUSEHOLD CARBON FOOTPRINT FIND RESOURCES TAKE ACTION AND TRACK THEIR SAVINGS. OVER 4490 AND GROWING PARTICIPATING HOUSEHOLDS HAVE COLLECTIVELY SAVED 1237 TONS OF GHG EMISSIONS 3.1 MILLION GALLONS OF WATER AND $528,000 SINCE 2019
EAST BAY CLEAN AIR COALITION: THE EAST BAY CLEAN AIR COALITION BRINGS TOGETHER COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS IN EAST CONTRA COSTA COUNTY TO EDUCATE RESIDENTS ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE MOST IMPACTED AREAS ON AIR QUALITY AND SUPPORT THEM IN TAKING ACTION TO CREATE HEALTHY AIR QUALITY.
