ICW-NA EXISTS TO LEAD EFFORTS TO SECURE AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV IN CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES. WE DO THIS BY MOBILIZING, ORGANIZING, ADVOCATING, MENTORING AND RAISING CONSCIOUSNESS ON THE ISSUES AND POLICIES THAT DIRECTLY IMPACT OUR LIVES.

HEALING TOGETHER IS AN INTEGRATED TRAUMA-INFORMED, STIGMA REDUCTION INTERVENTION FOR BLACK WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV. THIS IS CONDUCTED IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS, INCLUDING ST. LOUIS MISSOURI AND DALLAS TEXAS. MISSION: WEAVING THE SHARED EXPERIENCES OF OUR LIVES TOGETHRER TO CREATE A COMMUNITY OF STORYTELLERS AND CELEBRATE WHO WE ARE AS WOMEN. PURPOSE: BUILDING A STRONGER AND MORE ENGAGED COMMUNITY OF WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV.
MILKY MOOVEMENT (RESEARCH, POLICY ADVOCACY AND CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT): THE MILKY MOOVEMENT STARTED AS A "GRASS ROOTS" EFFORT WITH MULTIPLE COMPONENTS ALL WORKING COHESIVELY TO BEST SUPPORT MOTHERS AND BIRTHING PARENTS LIVING WITH HIV.
