PORTO CHARITIES INCREASES THE EDUCATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THROUGH GRANTS, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY PROGRAMS SUPPORTING THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF ARLINGTON.

WITH THE PERMISSION AND SUPPORT FROM THE ARLINGTON BISHOP, MICHAEL BURBRIDGE, PORTO CHARITIES CONDUCTED A SPECIAL KIDS/SPECIAL NEEDS COLLECTION FROM VARIOUS PARISHES THROUGHOUT THE ARCHDIOCESE. FUNDS COLLECTED WERE DISTRIBUTED AS GRANT AWARDS IN SUPPORT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AND SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS IN THE DIOCESE PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS WITH NO ADMINISTRATIVE OR OVERHEAD COST ASSESSMENTS.
