EDUCATION CULTIVATION PROGRAM (SCHOOL VEGETABLE GARDENS): THIRTY-SIX SCHOOLS IN DELAWARE HAVE INSTITUTED VEGETABLE GARDENS. STUDENTS LEARN HOW TO TEND AND HARVEST THE GARDEN, COOK AND EAT WHAT THEY ARE GROWING DURING BOTH SPRING AND FALL. LESSONS SUPPORT DE SCIENCE CURRICULUM AND TEACH THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY DIET.
