THE WORLD GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL (WORLDGBC) IS A GLOBAL NETWORK WHO CATALYSES THE UPTAKE OF SUSTAINABLE BUILT ENVIRONMENTS FOR EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE. WORLDGBC WORKS TO ESTABLISH NEW MEMBER COUNCILS AND HAS GREEN BUILDING COUNCILS (GBCS) IN AROUND 70 COUNTRIES IN VARIOUS STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT. THE STAGES ARE PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS, EMERGING MEMBERS, AND ESTABLISHED MEMBERS. WORLDGBC CONDUCTS REGIONAL SEMINARS TO TEACH GBCS DIFFERENT THINGS SUCH AS: ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE, OFFICER/BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES, FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES, METHODS OF EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON THE BENEFITS OF GREEN BUILDING, ETC.
