THE GIFT FOUNDATION OF HAWAII THEN SELECTS VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE RECOGNIZED AS TAX EXEMPT UNDER CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) AND DONATES THE MONEY THEY RAISED (EXCEPT FOR A SMALL AMOUNT OF FUNDS EACH YEAR FOR OPERATIONAL EXPENSES) TO THOSE ORGANIZATIONS THE DONEE ORGANIZATIONS FURTHER EDUCATION PURPOSES OR SERVE A CHARITABLE FUNCTION IN HAWAII.
