ANALYSIS: THE HEALTH POLICY INSTITUTE OF OHIO (HPIO) CREATES AND DISSEMINATES PUBLICATIONS AND ONLINE RESOURCES THAT PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE AND CLEAR ANALYSIS OF HEALTH POLICY TOPICS. HPIO HIGHLIGHTS POLICY OPTIONS AND EVIDENCE-INFORMED STRATEGIES. EXAMPLES INCLUDE THE HEALTH VALUE DASHBOARD, RACISM AND HEALTH, OHIO MEDICAID BASICS AND MULTIPLE PUBLICATIONS FOCUSED ON ADDICTION AND ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES.


EDUCATION: HPIO HOSTS FORUMS AND WEBINARS DESIGNED TO OFFER A BROAD AUDIENCE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT KEY HEALTH POLICY ISSUES. STAFF MEETS INDIVIDUALLY WITH STATE POLICYMAKERS TO SHARE ANALYSIS AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PRESENTS AT NATIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL CONFERENCES. HPIO ALSO PROVIDES A WEEKLY OHIO HEALTH POLICY NEWS AND QUARTERLY OHIO HEALTH VALUE REPORT.
